Abba Suganda Girsang is currently lecturer at master information technology at Bina Nusantara University Jakarta. He obtained Ph.D. degree in the Institute of Computer and Communication Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering and National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, in 2014. He graduated bachelor from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta Indonesia, in 2000. He then continued his masters degree in the Department of Computer Science in the same university in 2006–2008. He was a staff consultant programmer in Bethesda Hospital, Yogyakarta, in 2001 and also worked as a web developer in 2002–2003. He then joined the faculty of Department of Informatics Engineering in Janabadra University as a lecturer in 2003-2015. He also taught some subjects at some universities in 2006–2008. His research interests include swarm intelligence, combinatorial optimization, and decision support system.
