Dr. La Sunra, M.Hum.

Dr. La Sunra, M.Hum. currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of English at Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM), Indonesia. He earned his Bachelor of Education (S.Pd.) in English from UNM in 1994, followed by a Master of Humanities (M.Hum.) from Universitas Gadjah Mada in 1998. He completed his doctoral education (Dr.) at UNM in 2020. His scholarly expertise lies in English language pedagogy, with special interests in Teacher Education, Pragmatics, Cultural Studies, and Pragmatic Fluency. His teaching portfolio includes courses such as Micro Teaching, TEFL Methods, Pragmatics, Cultural Studies, Assessment in ELT, and English for Specific Purposes at UNM and partner institutions like Politeknik STIA LAN Makassar. He has authored and published numerous articles in reputable international journals indexed by Scopus as well as nationally accredited SINTA journals. As Principal Contact for the Performance: Journal of Language Education and Literature at UNM, he contributes to editorial guidance and academic leadership in the Faculty of Languages and Literature.
