Maulana Hamzah

Maulana Hamzah is currently a lecturer in Islamic financial management at UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Economics from the Islamic University of Indonesia and a master’s degree in management from IPB University. He came in touch with English while studying at Pondok Gontor, then perfected it by taking various English courses in Pare, East Java. His knowledge of English has been practiced in his teaching experience at Bintang Pelajar Bogor, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Hidayah Jambi and Pesantren Modern Al Kinanah Jambi. In addition to teaching Islamic economics and Islamic finance which are his main fields, he is also often asked to teach English on campus. The lack of references related to English that focus on discussing Islamic economics has motivated him to write this book.
