Dr. Mukhlash Abrar, S.S., M.Hum.

was born in Kuala Tungkal City, located on the east coast of Jambi Province. He completed his undergraduate education in 2006 at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Islamic Institute, Jambi. In 2013, he obtained a Master of Humanities degree from the English Applied Linguistics programme at Diponegoro University. The Doctor of Education degree was obtained in 2019 from Queens University of Belfast, United Kingdom.

The author currently occupies the roles of lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University. In addition, the author has been assigned the following responsibilities: Coordinator of the English Education Study Program, Coordinator of the Jambi University Scientific Journal and Publication Centre, and member of the Gender Focal Point team at the Jambi University Advanced Knowledge and Skills for Sustainable Growth (AKSI) Project.
