Petrus Kaseke Markus S.

Petrus Kaseke is a pioneer and conservator of Kolintang in Java, actively crafting and promoting Kolintang since 1965. As a Kolintang and Angklung choir coach, he has led international performances in Singapore (1970), Australia (1971), the United States (1972), and Europe (1973).

Beyond performance, he has contributed to music education as a teacher at the Pentecostal Church Bible School in Indonesia. While he pursued Mechanical Engineering at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, his lifelong dedication remains in preserving and advancing Kolintang.

He is a Master of Education from the University of the People and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Trisakti University, Jakarta. He is an active Kolintang musician, trainer, and percussionist, deeply involved in the preservation, performance, and education of Kolintang music in Indonesia and internationally.
