About

Sheila Hadikoesoemo earned her bachelor’s degree in communication Disorders and Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University (Arkansas, USA) and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University (Texas, USA). She is one of the few speech-language pathologists in Indonesia certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Her extensive training in child language and language-based learning disorders (including reading and reading-based language impairments) has made language development one of her core areas of expertise. Having worked both in the United States and in Indonesia, she is uniquely qualified to provide bilingual assessment and intervention for individuals with various linguistic backgrounds in Indonesia. Sheila is also one of the founders of Chrysallis Pediatric Facility. She believes that communication is a fundamental need that needs to be fostered and supported in every individual. She is an advocate for enhancing functional communication through various communication modalities, including the use of AAC.
