Dr. Sri Wachyunni, S.S., M.Hum., M.A.

Completed her primary and secondary education in Palembang, and her undergraduate education was completed in 1994 at the Faculty of Letters, Andalas University, Padang. In 1998, the author earned a Master of Humanities degree in American Studies from Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. She obtained a Master of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics from Groningen University in 2011, and subsequently completed a Doctor of Applied Linguistics degree from the same institution in 2015.

Since 1999, the author has been employed at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education and the Postgraduate Programmes at Jambi University. As well as maintaining a demanding commitment to teaching and research, the author has been entrusted with several responsibilities. These include serving as Chairperson of the S-1 English Education Study Program, Secretary of the Master’s Program (S-2) English Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University and Head of the International Office from 2017 to 2024. The latter responsibility entails the management of international students at the university. Since 2020, the author has been collaborating with the Jambi Provincial Language Office to facilitate international students in mastering the Indonesian language in accordance with the UKBI (Indonesian Language Competency Test) standard. Additionally, the author is active both as an Indonesian for Foreign Speakers lecturer at the postgraduate programme of Jambi University.
