Dr. Stephanus Alexsander

Stephanus Alexsander was born in Surabaya in 1979. He completed his primary and secondary education in Bajawa, Flores. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Civil Engineering from Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya (UNTAG), followed by a Master of Engineering (M.Eng) in Geotechnical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Surabaya. He subsequently earned his Doctorate (Ph.D.) from the same institution.
Dr. Alexsander currently serves as a lecturer at the University of Palangka Raya, where he has been actively engaged in the Faculty of Civil Engineering since 2020. Prior to that, he was a faculty member in the Department of Mining Engineering from 2008 to 2020. His teaching portfolio spans a wide range of subjects, including Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Geology, Soil Dynamics, Structural Dynamics, Earthquake Engineering, Geotechnical Computation, Geotechnical Design, Calculus I and II, Statistics, Numerical Methods, Rock Mechanics, Mining Geotechnics, and Mine Drainage.
