E-Book Sunnah Intermittent Fasting On Daily Life
Intermittent Fasting (IF), a recently recognised and practiced lifestyle intervention, primarily aids in weight loss, especially among diabetic and obese patients. Weight loss, regulation of blood glucose, and maintenance of a normotensive state are all substantive results of Intermittent Fasting. Muslim adherents possess knowledge about fasting, including Sunnah fasting, a voluntary form of fasting. This presents a remarkable opportunity to investigate the efficacy of Sunnah-IF in mitigating EBP among individuals of working age. In addition, participants’ BW, BMI, WC, and energy intake will decrease. Failure to intervene may result in the eventual diagnosis of hypertension for this population, thereby increasing their susceptibility to cardiovascular ailments and other technical difficulties. Assuming that the Sunnah-IF diet constitutes a sustainable, healthy lifestyle, it would be a non-pharmacological approach that is recommended for the reduction of EBP. The community, which is predominantly religious in nature, is more likely to incorporate Sunnah-IF as a positive cultural practice. Thus, it is feasible to transform the Sunnah fasting custom of the community into a perpetual observance.
Therefore, this book covers two topics. The first is to determine the difference in effectiveness between Sunnah-IF and usual dietary intake in reducing high blood pressure in working-age adults at 12 weeks of intervention and 12 weeks of post-intervention maintenance. The second is to compare the effectiveness of Sunnah-IF and usual dietary intake in reducing body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, and energy intake among working-age adults with elevated blood pressure at 12 weeks of intervention and 12 weeks of the post-intervention maintenance phase.
