Sinopsis Buku

E-Book Undercutting Mining Method

Geotechnical parameters are vital for the stability of the analysis, but there is a large difference between laboratory test outcomes and actual site circumstances. Back analysis was used to estimate the parameters of montmorillonite materials in the coal bottom layer, which included adjusting the cohesion and internal friction angle values. Due to its low pressure and transmissive function, the aquifer is an important component in simulating groundwater circumstances. The assessment of bearing capacity and the weak zone surrounding sediment material is necessary to enable geotechnical investigation. Geotechnical analysis in the low-wall section must take into account certain geological properties, such as a weak layer at the bedding contact. The slope dip angle, friction angle, and elastic modulus of slope rock must all be considered when calculating critical buckling height (CBH). The slope dip angle, friction angle, and elastic modulus of slope rock must all be considered when calculating critical buckling height (CBH). Slope stability analysis is critical in open-pit coal mining operations to ensure pit slope stability. There are two terminologies used in open coal mines: high-wall and low-wall. High-wall stability has been extensively explored in numerous investigations, and it is a necessary prerequisite in mining operations, while the stability of a low wall is often overlooked since it is assumed that the rock layer is hard and that rock material is the rest of the rock layer. This book will provide further explanation about the application of back-analysis and geotechnical profiling for slope stability on mine waste dump in Indonesia.
