Productivity is a measure of how an organization or company manages its resources to achieve goals. By measuring productivity, productivity improvements can be made by combining increased effectiveness and more efficient use of available resources. In general, companies plan for the needs of raw materials, building facilities, equipment and machinery, as well as the need for labour to carry out company processes and operations. The most important asset for the sustainability of a company is human resources. Human resource planning is a process designed to ensure a company or organization meets the needs of the workforce with the right people, the right place and the right time. One of the elements in human resource planning is job analysis.

Based on the results of this work, it can be seen how many employees are needed by the company to achieve the target. Measurement of workload on employees is something that can accommodate the company to achieve the target so that it can be optimal. Workload is one aspect that must be considered by every company because it can increase employee productivity. Workload is one of the factors that affect the level of success of a business or organization. A high level of workload will affect how well the performance of employees in an organization in an effort to achieve the goals of an organization.

Workload that is too excessive (overload) will result in work stress both physically and psychologically and emotional reactions. Workload incompatibility, both overloaded and underloaded, is one of the causes of decreased performance at work. Workload can be influenced by external factors and internal factors. The workload analysis method can provide recommendations on the number of workers needed to complete tasks in a work station or a section. Workload analysis is useful for increasing employee productivity and determining the ideal number of workers. Workload analysis is a process to determine the amount of labor needed at a work station to complete a job within a certain time. This book chapter contains the results of research related to workload analysis carried out in several parts of PT XYZ to increase productivity
