About
Dr. Alexander Stark is an anthropologist specialising in Southeast Asian ethnography. He completed his studies in anthropology at Heidelberg University and earned his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is currently a Research Fellow at Friedrich-Alexander University in Germany. Dr. Stark has published extensively on anthropology, ethnomedicine, structuralism, and literature, and has led several research projects on traditional Malay medicine and cultural memory. His work focuses on the preservation of traditional knowledge and examines the interaction between cultural heritage and modernity in a globalised world.
