Ni Made Diana Erfiani

Ni Made Diana Erfiani is an Associate Professor in Linguistics and currently serves as the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Research, and Innovation at Dhyana Pura University, Bali. She is serving her second term in this leadership role, with each term spanning four years, and her current term running until 2027. She earned her doctoral degree in Linguistics from Udayana University with the support of scholarship from Brot für die Welt (Bread for the World), the global development and relief agency of the Protestant Churches in Germany.

Dr. Erfiani is actively engaged in research and community-based initiatives aligned with the university’s scientific direction on tourism, local development, and community empowerment. In 2024, she was awarded a nationally competitive research grant from DRTPM for her project “Conceptual Model of English as a Language of Hospitality for Homestay Managers to Develop Family-Based Tourism Enterprises,” which has led to publications in internationally indexed journals. She is also a Certified International Research Reviewer.

She teaches several core courses, including Applied Linguistics, English for Administrative Purposes, English for Hotelier, Research Methodology, Seminar for Thesis Proposal, and Academic Journal Writing, integrating research-based and practice-oriented approaches to prepare students for academic and professional excellence.
