Suratman Dahlan

Suratman Dahlan was born in Bumi Rahmat Village, South Halmahera, North Maluku, Indonesia. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in English Education (S.Pd.) at Universitas Khairun Ternate (Unkhair), followed by a Master’s Degree (M.Pd.) in the English Education Department at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa, Yogyakarta. He later pursued doctoral studies in the same field at Universitas Negeri Makassar. He currently works as assistant professor at the English Education Department of Unkhair Ternate. His expertise in English grammar, translation, & EFL teaching strategies. He has authored and published numerous articles in reputable international journals indexed by Scopus as well as nationally accredited SINTA journals. In addition, he has written a book entitled “Simple English Grammar (for Beginners, University Students, and General Readers)” published in Penerbit Andi Yogyakarta in 2017. Recently, he attended and became a presenter in The 23rd AsiaTEFL International Conference on July 11-13, 2025 in Hong Kong.
